We are excited that Joseph Robertson have continued to support us and the work we do, after coming on board seven years ago. It means alot to us to have the ongoing support of a Torry-based business who have been with us since long before the Greyhope Bay Centre and Café opened.
Joseph Robertson are a fourth-generation family-owned business who are fully committed to producing the best quality, and best value, seafood products possible.
Why Joseph Robertson decided to give back to the community & environment:
Louise McCafferty, head of corporate social responsibility, said:
“As a family business that’s been operating in the immediate Aberdeen harbour area since 1878, we understand the importance of community and the local environment and have supported and donated to various causes and charities over the years. One of our key aims within the business is to source ethical and sustainable raw materials and produce those with a minimal environmental impact. We have been based in Torry, just 800 meters from Greyhope for 40 years of our 147 history and many of our personnel live locally, so we made a decision that we wanted to support good causes in the local area that fitted with our overall vision.”
Why did you choose to support Greyhope Bay?
“Back in 2019 Fiona, the Greyhope Bay CEO, came to visit us to explain her vision for Greyhope Bay and this very much piqued our interest. Because Greyhope Bay was both educational and a community led project, with an environmental and marine and coastal focus we felt this fitted with our overall vision for Joseph Robertson. We joined as Corporate Skippers and worked with Greyhope to help develop Fiona’s and the community’s vision and have continued to support the charity through the development phase and into its operational phase, including getting involved in litter picks, open days and the Green Power Assembly. We have been overwhelmed by the success of the project and are keen to see how it develops in the future and will continue to support.”
We have always enjoyed working with Joseph Robertson and Louise, who is a regular attendee at our monthly litter picks, and look forward to another year working together.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
