You may SEE something new the next time you visit the Greyhope Bay Centre. We’re excited to announce that Greyhope Bay recently received a grant from the ABZ Propeller Fund from Aberdeen International Airport for new binoculars to replace our very worn-out pairs.
These new binoculars will help visitors get the best view of wildlife when they visit the Greyhope Bay Centre, and help us with our goal of getting a better understanding of species seen around Torry Battery so that we can develop a biodiversity plan for the site. We would love it if you could submit records of the species you see when you visit! You can either submit your records using an app like iRecord, or you can submit directly to North East Scotland Biological Records Centre (NESBReC).
We were delighted to welcome ABZ Propeller Fund chair, Bruce, and his daughter to the Greyhope Bay Centre a couple of weeks ago to test out our new binoculars to get a great look at the dolphins, and they were even able to spot some of the Tall Ships arriving early!
Thanks again to the ABZ Propeller Fund for supporting us by helping to improve visitor experience, and monitoring biodiversity. As a small charity, funds like this are invaluable for helping us make an impact.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
